Your core objectives

• Design, build, and own features that will bring value to our customers and users

• Improve the capabilities of our AI agents

• Integrate new third-party APIs and ship resident-facing features end-to-end

• Implement scalable data processing pipelines to handle resident communications and workflow automation

Requirements

We're more interested in someone who is hungry, learns fast, and can deliver at a fast-growing startup than someone whose resume checks all the boxes.

• Ability to thrive in an early startup environment

• Innovative problem-solving mindset; favoring pragmatic designs over heavy abstractions 

• Ownership-minded and proactive; communicate effectively and balance quality with urgency 

• 2+ years of backend development experience

• Proficiency in Python

• Strong product intuition 

• Experience using LLM and AI development tools daily

• Willingness to work in person from our NYC headquarters with the team (4 days in office)

• Must have US work authorization

• Based in NYC area

Nice to have:

• Experience developing or integrating LLM-based applications

• Experience with integrating third-party APIs and building scalable systems

• Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Entrata, Rent Manager)

• Real estate background

Compensation range:

The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $145,000. Domos offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Exact compensation is determined based on a number of factors including experience, skill level, and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process. Additional details about total compensation and benefits will be provided during the hiring process.
